C. Robert Valeri, MD, FACP, is a well-versed hematologist and researcher who is currently retired and living in Massachusetts. He is the former Director of the Naval Blood Research Laboratory at Boston University School of Medicine, for which he served as Section Chief of Hematology. He spent forty-five years exploring hematocrit, bleeding time, and nonsurgical blood loss, as well as other blood-related advances used to treat military and civilian personnel. As a hematologist, he has dedicated training and unique experience in the study of the cause, prognosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases related to blood. Dr. Valeri has an impressive professional journey that spans 55 years and has unrivaled expertise in hematology. A highly regarded hematologist and researcher, he is an extensively published author in peer-reviewed journals as well.
